Regardless of who wins at the 2018 Oscars, the losers are taxpayers

Every year, Hollywood gets more than a billion dollars in tax incentives from politicians to film the next big blockbuster in their state. Each state make their money by collecting taxes from working class and small business owners, which they sacrifice by offering tens of millions in tax credits to big corporations. And often taxpayer money is thrown after bad films that doesn’t even cover print, publicity and marketing costs. Even after getting billions from taxpayers, when it comes about "social responsibility" and "diversity", Hollywood rarely gives a cause to cheer. The big studios only care about corporate profits and seldom seek out new talent to find the next generation of "DiCaprio", “Spielberg”, and “Hitchcock”. At this time of vertical integration (acquisitions & mergers of companies under one umbrella) most major film studios are now subdivisions of big multinational corporations. Additionally they have the power to control and limit what films people can view. Regardless of who wins at the 2018 Oscars, the losers are taxpayers (on film subsidies).

Support and promote companies that connects "Art" and "Commerce" It is the principle of Dream Merchants Entertainment to support, find and nurture new talents. In this smartphone era, where a basic mobile phone comes with 4K resolution, everyone is a “film maker” and an "actor". This makes it very difficult for talented film school graduates to find good opportunities and survive in this industry. For the feature film "The Kamasutra Garden", we received over 8000 actor and crew resume submissions. Most of the actors that worked in “The Kamasutra Garden” are film school graduates, with great artistic interest and creative passion. We found these hidden talents after conducting 9 auditions in 5 cities (3 states - California, Florida, Atlanta). Pictures of the filming of "The Kamasutra Garden" and trailers can be viewed at our website www.thekamasutragarden.net

Why we made a feature film based on "Kamasutra"? In 1980, Hollywood spent less than 20 cents on advertising for every $1 it earned at the box office. But in 2016, it spends 60 cents to get that buck. Now it costs $60 million in advertising expenditure to earn $100 million in box office revenue. Additionally ten percent of monthly filmgoers buy half of all movie tickets. The celluloid loyalists are young, heavily concentrated among people between 18 and 39. Without spending much in advertising or marketing "The Kamasutra Garden" trailers has got over 9 MILLION views online and the Facebook page has over 253,000 followers. The film website has got over 150,000 hits in an year. This small indie film "The Kamasutra Garden" is more popular worldwide that many studio films that have spend millions in production and marketing.

What is the premise of "The Kamasutra Garden"? The feature film "The Kamasutra Garden" is an innovative concept that connects indian Kamasutra to the legal brothels in Nevada, USA.
